Hershel Greene
-is a strong Christian and believes the zombie apocalypse could be the '7 Years of Tribulation' described in the Bible but does not understand why God didn't take a Christian like himself to Heaven before the Apocalypse began. He kept all his neighbours in his barn when they had turned into zombies because he believed the world would returm to normal. He always wanted to save everyone, and did not believe killing was the right answer. He took care of the group, thought them to live off the land, held regular prayer sessions, made sure everyone went out to scavenger with a clear head or they had to stay inside, and he gace himself to the devil to be killed i front of everyone. He has the characteristics of God.

Rick Grimes
- is seperated from his family at the beginning of the series. We see Rick in many stressful situations and kill anything that got in his way of finding his family. He has killed zombies and humans. We see good and evil in his personality. When he meets Hershel we see personality changes, he steps down from leader position, and becomes a follower.

Philip Blake
- is a main character and an antagonist as well as a survivor of the outbreak. He is the leader of the fortified town of Woodbury. Better known as "The Governor". He showed no mercy to anyone not even his group. He killed anyone that looked like a threat. Eventually his group decided to leave him on his own. The govenor is the devil.
"Go through the fences in your cars, get your guns. We go in,kill them all!"
